[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 동두천시 생연1동 소재 ‘털보네’에서는 관내에서 홀로 지내고 있는 독거노인 8가구에 정성이 가득하고 영양가 풍부한 닭볶음탕을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

‘털보네 식당’은 2018년 이후부터 나눔 문화 확산과 저소득층 지원 확대를 위한 착한 식당으로 선정되어 매월 1회씩 찌개나 국 등을 정성껏 만들어 나눔문화 확산에 동참하고 있다고 했다.  

닭볶음탕을 전달받은 한 어르신은 “장기간의 코로나19로 인해 찾아오는 사람도 없어 외로운데다가, 여름철 무더위로 입맛 또한 없어 기운이 없고 힘들었는데 맛있는 보양식을 줘서 기운을 차릴 수 있을 것 같다”며 고마움을 전했다. 

털보네 식당 김희정 대표는 “작은 나눔, 따뜻한 동행으로 봉사를 통해 어르신들에게 사랑을 실천할 수 있어 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 내 부모를 모시는 마음으로 지속적인 봉사활동을 실시하겠다”고 밝혔다.

아울러 남상만 생연1동장은 “장기화된 코로나19로 자영업자들도 많이 힘든 상황인데, 지속적인 나눔을 실천하는 착한식당이 있어, 우리 사회가 어려움 속에서도 더욱 빛이 나는 것 같다”고 말했다.
