신청 대상은 공익형 사업 만65세 이상 기초연금 수급자, 시장형 사업은 만60세 이상 사업 참여 가능자이며 단, 국민기초생활보장법에 의한 생계급여 수급자와 국민건강보험 직장가입자, 장기요양보험 등급판정자, 정부 부처나 지자체 추진 일자리사업 참여자는 신청 제외 대상이라고 했다.

오는 2022년 노인일자리 및 사회활동지원사업 총 사업량은 올해보다 130명 증가된 3,126명으로 참여 신청은 시니어클럽, 종합사회복지관, 노인복지센터, (사)한마음복지회 등 4개 수행기관에 하면 되고, 참여자 선정은 소득 수준 및 세대 구성, 활동 역량, 경력 등 사전에 공지된 선발기준에 따른 고득점자 순으로 이뤄지며, 동일세대에서 1명만 가능하며 이중 접수시 선발 취소된다고 했다.

올해도 작년과 마찬가지로 코로나19 예방을 위해 다수 인원이 집합되지 않도록 기존 참여자는 수행기관에서 참여자 활동 장소에 직접 방문하여 개별신청 접수를 받을 예정이며 신규 노인일자리 참여희망자는 오는 12월 17일까지 신분증, 주민등록등본, 통장(사본)을 지참해 수행기관을 직접 방문하거나 읍면사무소에서 신청하면 되고, 선발 결과는 오는 12월 27일부터 31일까지 개별 통지될 예정이라고 전했다.
