그동안 G-SL공연은 지난 4월부터 매주 토요일 저녁 음악역 1939 뮤직홀에서 18회에 걸쳐 다양한 장르로 일반 주민과 관광객들이 만나는 기회를 가졌도, 지속적인 코로나19의 확산으로 사회적 거리두기 지침을 준수하여 100% 사전예약으로 진행하였으며, 이에 많은 관람객이 공연을 관람하기에 어려움이 있어 아쉬움이 있었다고 했다고 했다.

이번 영상은 요일별로 수요층에 맞는 공연장면을 송출할 계획이며, 지역주민들이 주로 방문하는 월요일에서 목요일까지는 추억의 가수 전영록을 비롯한 여러 가수의 영상 10편 송출하고, 관광객들이 주로 찾아오는 금요일에서 일요일까지는 젊은 층에게 인기 있는 래퍼 머쉬베놈을 비롯한 신나는 공연 영상 10편을 선보일 예정이라고 했다.
