[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 25일부터 양주시는 옥정호수도서관에서 ‘건강한 백세 시대를 위한 건강인문학 강좌’에 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

양주시는 다가오는 100세 시대와 최근 코로나19로 인해 높아진 건강에 대한 관심과 인문학 소양에 대한 시민들의 갈증을 해소하기 위해 마련했다고 전했다.

이번 강좌는 성인 20명을 대상으로 오는 6월 10일부터 7월 29일까지 16시간 총 8회에 걸쳐 진행되며 ‘독서혁명’, ‘탄탄한 독서력’, ‘유병장수의 시대’, ‘무병장수를 위한 건강인문학’ 등 저자 곽동우 강사가 끝없는 질문과 탐색을 통해 찾아낸 건강과 인문학에 대한 지혜를 알기 쉽게 설명한다고 했다. 

수강료는 무료이며 성인 20명을 대상으로 선착순 모집하고, 신청을 희망하는 시민은 옥정호수도서관으로 문하거나 도서관홈페이지를 참고하면 된다고 전했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “코로나19 시대 건강과 면역력의 중요성이 날로 높아지는 가운데 건강 인문학 강좌를 통해 시민들에게 큰 도움을 줄 수 있는 유익한 시간이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
