김엘리 평화 페미니즘 연구소장의 강의로 이어진 두 번째 강의는 세대별로 변화하는 한국사회 남성들이 남성성과 젠더 갈등 속 ‘새로운 남성성’을 찾아서 성인지 감수성을 높이고 향후 각종 성 평등한 정책을 추진하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다고 말했다.

 
안병용 의정부시장은 “이번 교육을 통해 관리자 공무원들이 각종 시책의 성인지 관점에서의 감수성을 함양하고, 양성 평등한 조직문화 확산에 앞장설 수 있는 계기가 되기를 바란다. 앞으로 여성친화도시 의정부에 부합하는 선진행정을 구현할 수 있기를 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
