[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 경기도 주관 2022년도 시군종합평가에서 실적향상부문 전체 1위를 차지해 5천만원의 재정 인센티브를 받게 됐다고 밝혔다.

올해 경기도 시군종합평가는 도내 31개 시군을 대상으로 인구수에 따라 3개 그룹으로 나누어 국민이 주인인 정부, 더불어 잘사는 경제, 내 삶을 책임지는 국가, 고르게 발전하는 지역, 평화와 번영의 한반도, 도 주요시책 등 6개 분야의 행정 전반에 대한 세부지표 89개의 추진실적에 대해 평가가 이뤄졌다. 

최종 결과는 지난해 정부합동평가 실적 30%, 올해 시군종합평가 실적 70%를 합산하여 도출됐으며, 올해 가평군은 종합점수 전년 대비 5.24점 향상되어 경기도 전체 31개 시군중 실적 향상 부문에서 1위를 달성하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.

가평군은 인구 밀도가 낮은 농촌지역으로 예산 및 사업규모가 작고, 자연보전권역으로 지정되어 있어 개발행위가 제한되는 등 여러 가지 불리한 조건 속에서도 연초 지표별 목표 설정 및 추진 계획 수립하고 지표 담당자 교육을 실시하며 매월 군수, 부군수 주재의 지표 추진실적 보고회를 개최하는 등 실적관리를 위한 기관 차원의 각고의 노력을 기울여왔다.
