횡성군보건소는 전 실과소 총 127개 업무 가운데 지난 2021년 군정 주요업무 자체평가 10개 항목 중 2개 항목 '예방접종사업, 감염병예방관리사업'에서 매우 우수, 5개 항목에서 우수 평가를 받았고, 특히 코로나19 위기 상황 속에서 다양한 보건증진사업 실시 및 방문보건사업, 금연클리닉, 식품안전관리 등 일상생활 보건 증진을 위해 적극 노력했다는 평가를 받았다고 했다.
