가톨릭대학교 의정부성모병원은 의정부 관내 종합병원이며 권역응급의료센터 및 소아응급센터로 지정 운영되는 등 재난 및 응급의료에 대한 지역사회 역할을 분담하고 있는 의료기관으로 병원장 및 병원 관계자는 이날 의정부시청을 방문해 김동근 시장의 취임을 축하했고, 향후 다양한 분야에서 의정부시 의료환경 발전을 위한 협력 의사를 전달했다.

김동근 의정부시장은 “취임 축하차 방문한 한창희 병원장에게 감사의 인사를 밝히며, 의정부시의 의료환경이 더욱 향상될 수 있도록 민·관이 함께 협력하자”라고 말했다.
