[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도는 강원특별자치도가 성공적으로 출범(‘23.6.11.)을 할 수 있도록, 오는 11일부터 「강원특별법」특례 발굴을 위한 권역별 설명회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

「특례 발굴을 위한 권역별 설명회」는 도와 시·군이 강원도만의 차별화된 특례 발굴을 위한 협력체계 구축 자리로 11일 강릉권, 18일 춘천권, 19일 원주권 3개 권역으로 나누어 진행될 예정이다.

이번 권역별 설명회에서는 특별자치도 추진 개요, 추진단의 준비상황과 향후계획을 공유하고 국정과제, 도·시군 전략산업 및 공약사업 등 지역과 권역의 특수성을 반영함과 동시에 도민 모두에게 혜택이 돌아갈 수 있는 특례 발굴 방안을 중점적으로 설명할 계획이다. 

김상영 강원특별자치도추진담당관은 “2023년 6월 11일 강원특별자치도 출범 전까지 각종 규제를 걷어내고 지역경제에 도움이 되는 방향으로특례를 발굴하여「강원특별법」개정을 신속히 추진해 나갈 것이며, 이를 위해시군, 교육청 등 유관기관과 협력체계를 공고히 구축해 나가겠다” 고 밝혔다.
