[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 지난 6월 30일 ‘나라키움 영등포 복합청사*’ 현장(서울시 영등포구)에서 이인수 상임감사가 국토안전관리원 관계자들과 함께 장마철 특별 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

* 영등포복합청사 신축사업은 영등포 선거관리위원회 부지를 활용하여 청사(영등포구·동작구 선거관리위원회)와 공공임대주택(행복주택 63호), 수익시설을 복합개발하는 사업

이인수 감사는 이날 현장을 살피며 △건설업 3대 악성 사망 요인(추락, 충돌, 질식) 예방조치 상태 △장마철 대비 공사장 주변 안전조치 현황 △현장 내 근로자 휴게시설 관리실태 △여름철 열사병 예방 3대 기본수칙(물, 그늘, 휴식) 준수여부 등 중대재해 예방을 위한 안전관리 상태를 면밀히 점검했다고 했다.

특히, 국토안전관리원 담당자들과 함께 안전 계측기기, 콘크리트 타설 준비 과정 등의 전반적 안전사항과 추후 입주자들의 불편사항을 사전에 최소화할 수 있도록 건설 품질관리 등도 함께 점검했다고 했다.

현장 점검을 마치고, 이인수 감사는 현장 근로자 및 협력사 관계자들과 즉석 간담회를 실시해 건설 현장의 애로사항과 안전관리 개선점, 자체감사기구의 역할 등에 대한 의견을 나눴다고 전했다.

이인수 감사는 “올해는 중대재해법이 시행되는 원년인 만큼 건설안전 내부통제 강화를 통해 안전 리스크를 최소화하고, 안전한 경영환경 조성에 앞장서겠다”고 강조했다.

한편, 캠코는 지난해부터 국토안전관리원, 부산도시공사 등과 감사업무협약을 체결하고, 공공개발 건설사업장 합동점검을 실시하고 있으며, 올해 캠코는 합동점검 외에도, ‘안전지킴이 지정’, ‘안전점검의 날 운영’ 등을 통해 9년 연속 중대재해 ‘ZERO’ 달성을 계획하고 있다고 전했다.
