[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 주민 스스로 지역문제를 발굴해 해결하고 마을공동체를 활성화 하기 위해 ‘2022년 태백시 마을공동체 만들기 공모사업’ 공동체를 3차 모집한다고 밝혔다.

공모분야 사업은 교육지원형과 문화예술형, 환경정비형, 복지봉사형, 소득사업형 등으로 마을공동체 활성화를 위한 자율사업이라고 전했다.

단, 일방적 복지·일회성·정치적·종교적·친목·단순영리 등 마을공동체 사업 취지에 부적합한 사업과 타 보조사업과 중복되는 사업은 지원이 제외된다고 했다.

신청자격은 태백시에 거주하는 5인 이상의 주민 모임 또는 접수를 희망하는 공동체이며 오는 7월 15일까지 사업계획서, 공동체 소개서, 참여자 명부 등을 작성·지참해 시청 일자리경제과로 방문 접수하거나 이메일을 통해 신청하면 된다고 했다.

태백시는 접수된 공동체에 대해 공동체성, 사업필요성, 실현가능성, 지속가능성 등을 검토하여 2개 공동체를 선정할 계획이라고 전했다.

선정된 마을공동체는 마을공동체 활성화를 위한 프로그램 및 활동 사업비를 지원받게 되며 지원액은 공동체별 최대 5백만 원 이내로 마을공동체는 지원금의 5% 이상을 자부담해야 하고, 기타 자세한 사항은 태백시청 일자리경제과 사회적경제팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
