[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  3일 오후 2시 강릉시는 지역관광 혁신사업(이을 프로젝트) 선정에 따라 ‘강릉 바우길 투어와 함께하는 댕댕이게임 시즌1’사업 추진을 위해 파인아트라벨 호텔 등과 반려동물 숙박지원 업무협약을 체결한다고 밝혔다.

지역관광 혁신사업은 문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사에서 주관하는 사업으로 산‧학‧연‧관 간의 협력을 통해 지역 경쟁력을 강화하는 프로젝트로 강릉시는 반려동물 동반 관광객을 위한 ‘강릉 바우길 투어와 함께하는 댕댕이게임 시즌1’을 추진하며 이번 협약은 프로그램 활성화 및 강릉을 찾는 반려동물 여행객들의 숙박지원을 위해 추진하게 됐고, 강릉시는 바우길 안내서비스, 참여업체 명패제작 등 각종 인센티브를 제공하며 호텔은 양질의 호텔서비스를 제공하고, 사업 주관기관인 ㈜함께온은 안전한 행사 진행을 위해 협력하여 반려동물 친화 도시에 걸맞은 인프라를 확보할 수 있게 됐다고 전했다. 

강릉시 관계자는 “이번 사업으로 반려견 동반 가능 업체 확대와 반려인, 반려동물이 지켜야 할 에티켓 훈련 등으로 반려문화 조기 정착 및 반려견과 함께하는 행복한 동행 도시가 되고자 한다.”고 말했다.
