[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 동물에 대한 생명 존중과 올바른 반려동물 입양문화 확산을 위해 오는 10월 31일까지 유실·유기동물 입양활성화 집중 홍보기간을 운영한다.

집중 홍보기간에는 SNS, 홈페이지 등을 활용해 홍보활동을 펼치며, 오는 24일 반려동물 놀이터 개장식에서 진행되는 반려동물 문화체험 행사에서 입양 절차, 신청 방법 및 관련 지원 사업 등을 적극 홍보할 예정이다.

시 관계자는 “이번 집중 홍보기간을 통해 많은 유실·유기동물이 새 주인을 찾고, 반려동물을 사랑하고 아끼는 성숙한 문화가 확산되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
