[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5일, 동두천시 보산동 행정복지센터는 ‘민원실 리모델링 사업’추진을 위해 타 시 민원실 벤치마킹에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

방문대상 기관은 인근 양주시 회천2동 행정복지센터로, 지난해 리모델링을 추진해 시민 만족도가 높은 곳이며, 이날 방문 견학은 보산동장을 비롯한 각 팀장과 회계 담당이 배석했으며 청사 내 주요 시설을 둘러보며 회천2동 행정복지센터 관계자로부터 민원실 리모델링 추진 현황을 청취하고 편의시설과 민원실 운영에 대한 다양한 의견을 나눴다고 했다.

한편, 이에 앞서 보산동 행정복지센터는 최근 신축한 소요동 행정복지센터와 생연2동 행정복지센터를 찾아 민원실을 둘러보기도 했다고 전했다. 

여운성 보산동장은 “벤치마킹 결과를 참고해 보산동 행정복지센터 민원실 리모델링을 추진할 계획”이라며 “앞으로 편안하고 쾌적한 민원실 환경조성을 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
