[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 28일, 동두천시 보산동 행정복지센터는 보산할아버지경로당의 노후 싱크대를 교체했다고 밝혔다.

보산할아버지경로당 싱크대는 연식이 오래되고, 악취와 배수가 원활하지 못해 경로당 회원들이 불편을 겪고 있었으며, 이번 싱크대 교체로 악취와 배수 문제가 해결되어 회원들의 이용에 불편함이 해소되었다고 전했다. 

보산할아버지경로당의 한 회원은 “싱크대가 오래되고 악취가 심해 불편했는데 교체해주어 감사하다”고 전했다.

여운성 보산동장은 “오미크론 대응을 위해 2월 14일부터 경로당이 운영을 중단하고 있지만, 경로당 운영을 재개하면 이번 싱크대 교체로 어르신들이 편안하고 깨끗하게 경로당을 이용하셨으면 좋겠다”면서 “앞으로도 경로당 회원분들의 의견을 수렴해 불편함이 없도록 힘을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다.
