[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 9일부터 오는 3월 6일까지, 고성군은 관내에서 산업활동을 수행하고 있는 4,648개소를 대상으로 2021년 기준 사업체조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

본 조사는 통계청 주관으로 고성군을 비롯한 전국 지방자치단체에서 동시에 실시되며, 우리나라 사업체의 규모와 분포를 파악해 각종 정책수립 및 학술연구의 기초자료, 경제통계 모집단 자료로 활용되는 국가 중요 통계이라고 했다.

조사항목은 ‘사업장 운영장소’, ‘사업의 종류’, ‘조직형태’, ‘종사자 수’ 등 12개 항목으로, 급변하는 산업구조 현실을 반영하기 위해 상근근로자가 없는 무인점포, 가구 내에서 산업활동을 하는 1인 유튜버, 가정 내 전자상거래, 간판없는 공부방 등의 사업체도 포함된다고 했다. 

조사방식은 조사원이 사업체를 방문하여 조사하는 면접조사와 전화 또는 배포조사가 병행되며, 조사과정에서 수집되는 내용은 통계법 제33조에 따라 비밀이 철저히 보장되고, 조사 결과는 오는 9월에 잠정결과가, 12월에 확정결과가 공표될 예정이라고 전했다.

군 관계자는 “코로나19 상황으로 조사과정에 어려움이 예상되나, 조사원과 응답 사업체 모두 안전한 조사가 이뤄질 수 있도록 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하여 조사에 임할 것”이라며, “조사대상 사업체의 성실한 응답이 보다 나은 정책으로 이어질 수 있도록, 적극적인 참여와 협조를 당부드린다”고 말했다.
