[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월12일, 의정부시청소년재단에서 운영하는 의정부시청소년상담복지센터는 해피워크 매니저 심화교육을 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

이 날 교육은 상반기 해피워크 매니저 교육의 심화과정으로 상반기 교육을 받았던 12명의 해피워크 매니저들이 참석하여 진행되었고, 교육은 하종강 교수의 강의로 진행되었으며 노동의 역사와 청소년 노동인권의 필요성·중요성에 대해 함께 나누고 생각해볼 수 있는 다른 나라의 사례와 다양한 이야기들로 진행되었다고 했다.

한 학기동안 청소년들을 교육하며 우리나라 노동인권 인식개선의 필요성을 절실히 느꼈다는 한 해피워크 매니저는 “이번 교육을 통해 어려운 내용과 사회적 이슈, 노동인권에 대한 전문적인 지식들을 쉽게 전달받을 수 있어 좋았고, 노동인권 강사로서 책임감을 느낄 수 있는 유익한 시간이었다”며 교육에 만족감을 표현하였다.         

의정부시청소년상담복지센터는 해피워크 매니저 교육을 통해 청소년들의 노동인권 감수성을 깨우고 노동현장에 있는 청소년의 인권을 보호하고 존중하는 프로그램을 지속적으로 개발할 예정이며, 또한 청소년의 노동인권보호와 청소년 노동환경개선을 위해 찾아가는 청소년 노동인권 상담창구, 언제 어디서든 상담이 가능한 온라인 상담창구,  청소년 노동인권보호를 위한 지역자원 연계 캠페인을 진행할 예정이라고 말했다.
