[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 15일 포천시 읍면동 보장협의체 연합회는 포천체육공원에서 포천시무한돌봄희망복지센터와 공동으로 지역의 소외된 이웃을 위한 이웃돕기 바자회를 개최했다.

이번 바자회에서는 지역에서 후원받거나 야채, 떡, 참기름 등 직접 만들어 준비한 물품을 판매했고, 비가 오는 궂은 날씨임에도 불구하고 지역에 도움을 주고자 많은 시민들이 참여했다고 했다.

김경애 회장은 “처음 하는 바자회 행사라 긴장이 많이 됐지만 많은 시민들이 동참해 주셔서 성공적으로 마무리 할 수 있었다.”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “바자회를 위해 애써주신 읍면동 보장협의체 위원 여러분들의 노고에 감사드린다.”라며 “이번 바자회를 통해 나눔의 선한 영향력이 사회 곳곳에 전달되었으면 한다.”고 전했다.

한편, 수익금 전액은 오는 9월 추석 때 소외계층을 위한 꾸러미 나눔 사업에 쓰일 예정이라고 했다.
