[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 14일 영북면지역사회보장협의체는 취약계층 가구에 생필품을 꾸러미를 전달하는 나눔 사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다.

(사)희망을 나누는 사람들로부터 샴푸, 치약, 칫솔 등을 후원받아 꾸러미로 만들어 취약계층 64가구에 전달했다고 했다. 

김봉일 위원장은 “수령하시는 분들이 기뻐하는 모습을 보니 보람차다.”라며 “어려운 시기일수록 주변의 힘든 이웃을 살피는 일에 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 전했다.

윤숭재 영북면장은 “후원물품을 전해주신 후원처에 감사드리며, 앞으로도 민관이 협력해 지역사회의 소외된 계층 발굴과 지원에 적극 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
