[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5일 영북면 지역사회보장협의체는 이웃돕기 방송모금 성금인 경기사회복지공동모금회 네잎클로버사업 배분금으로 건강하고 시원한 여름나기 사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다.

지역사회보장협의체는 무더위 취약가구를 선정해 시원하게 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 여름 이불을 전달하고, 여름철 건강관리 등 안부도 확인했다고 했다.

여름 이불을 전달받은 한 어르신은 “계속되는 무더위에 지쳐 밤을 지새웠는데, 시원한 여름 이불을 지원해줘서 진심으로 감사하다.”라고 말했다.  

김봉일 위원장은 “이번 네잎클로버 여름나기 사업을 통해 어르신들이 조금이나마 건강하고 시원하게 여름을 보낼 수 있기를 바라며, 취약계층에 대한 지속적인 관심과 지원을 통해 복지사각지대가 없는 영북면을 만들도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
