[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 5월18일(화) 의정부시시설관리공단 사랑나눔봉사단에서는 장기화 되고 있는 코로나19 극복을 위한 나눔 실천으로 (사)장애인보호작업장 솔빛터를 방문하여 나눔을 실천하였다고 밝혔다.

의정부시시설관리공단 사랑나눔봉사단은 직원들이 자발적인 참여로 1인 1봉사단 가입하여 CEO, 드림, 행복콜, 재능봉사단의 봉사단을 운영하여 매월 다양한 나눔을 실천하고 있다고 했다.

이번에는 3개 봉사단이 연합하여 시설 방역소독, 전기시설 보수 및 안전점검을 하였으며, 또한 소상공인 돕기를 겸하여 간식후원으로 모닝세트 교환권을 구입하여 친구들에게 선물로 전달하였다고 말했다.

솔빛터 원장은 “공단 봉사단은 8년 동안 매월 꾸준한 체험활동으로 나눔을 실천하고 있으며, 코로나로 어려운 시기에도 다양한  후원으로 우리에게 꿈과 희망을 만들어 주는 봉사단에게 감사하다”고 말했다.

임해명 이사장은 “코로나19로 지역사회가 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는바 지속적인 지역사회 공헌활동 및 사회적 가치실현을 위해 공단이 할 수 있는 구체적인 실천방안을 모색하고 끊임없이 노력하겠다”고 전했다
