반려견 소유자는 등록대상동물을 등록하여야 하며 또한 동반하고 외출할 때는 목줄 등 안전조치를 하여야 하며 이를 위반할 경우 각각 20만 원의 과태료를 부과하게 된다고 했다.

정희종 도시농업과장은 “그동안 목줄을 풀어 놓아 지속적으로 불편 민원이 제기돼 왔는데 이번 점검으로 올바른 반려문화가 조성될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”라고 말했다.
