[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 27일 양주시는 시청 상황실에서 농협하나로유통 양주유통센터와 시장형 노인일자리사업 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식은 성열원 복지문화국장을 비롯해 서경식 농헙하나로유통 양주지사장, 김영택 식자재사업부장, 주민정 회천노인복지관장, 노인일자리 사업단 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 우리 농산물 애용 및 시장형 노인일자리사업 활성화를 위한 제반사항 등에 합의하고 협약사항 이행을 위해 적극 협력하기로 했다고 전했다.

협약에 따라 양주시는 시장형 노인일자리사업단 ‘엄마의 부엌’ 반찬가게에 필요한 식자재 구매를 지원하며 농협하나로유통 양주유통센터는 식자재 구매 가격의 5% 할인을 제공하기로 했다고 전했다.

‘엄마의 부엌’은 신선한 재료를 바탕으로 노인이 직접 조리해 저렴한 가격으로 반찬 및 도시락을 판매하는 시장형 노인일자리 주요사업이라고 했다.

양주시는 이번 업무협약을 통해 신선하고 깨끗한 우리 농산물 식자재와 어르신의 손맛이 합쳐진 안전한 먹거리 판매로 수익성 있는 노인일자리 창출에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다고 했다. 

서경식 지시장은 “이번 협약을 통해 우수한 우리 농산물을 적극적으로 알리고 저렴한 비용으로 제공할 계획이며 앞으로도 노인 일자리사업단과 협력을 강화해 상생해 나가겠다”고 말했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “이번 협약을 계기로 시장형 노인 일자리 주요 사업인 엄마의 부엌 반찬가게가 건강하고 안전한 먹거리 판매로 한층 더 거듭날 것”이라며 “양질의 맞춤형 노인 일자리사업을 적극 발굴해 어르신의 소득보전과 사회참여 기회를 확대하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
