[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 22일 의정부시청소년재단은 제51회 ‘지구의 날’을 맞아 지구환경을 지키기 위하여 전 직원들이 참여하는 기후변화 주간을 운영하여 화제가 되고 있다고 밝혔다.

의정부시청소년재단에서는 ‘지구의 날’ 탄소중립 공감대를 형성하고 미래청소년들에게 물려줄 환경을 지키는데 재단 직원들이 앞장서고자 ‘지구 살리기’기후변화주간을 운영한다고 했다.

기후변화주간은 4.22.(목) ~ 4.30.(금)까지 한 주간 재단 전 직원이 지구의 날 소등행사 참여하기, 일회용품 사용안하기, 대중교통 이용하기, 전기용품 적정 사용 하기 등을 실천서약을 받아 진행되고, 또한 22일 ‘지구의 날’ 온실가스 감축과 저탄소 생활 실천의 필요성을 알리는 소등행사에 청소년수련관, 청소년상담복지센터, 새말청소년문화의집, 흥선청소년문화의집 4개 시설에서 모두 참여 하였고 8시부터 10분간 진행되었다고 말했다.
