[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부]  지난 4월7일(수) 가평군 자원봉사센터소속 봉사단체인 가자청봉심에서는 설악중학교를 시작으로 약 한달간 관내 6개읍면에 있는 중.고등학교 학생 대상으로 자원봉사 순회교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

청소년 자원봉사 순회교육은 관내 중.고등학교를 대상으로 자라나는 청소년의 올바른 성장의 밑거름이 되도록 지도하고 자원봉사를 통한 청소년의 진로탐색에 도움을 주며 봉사를 통한 이웃사랑의 의미를 되새기며 올바르고 계획적인 자원봉사활동을 가르치는 청소년 봉사 학습이라고 했다.

올해로 9년째 이어온 자원봉사 순회교육은 지난해 코로나로 인하여 잠시 중단된 상태였으나 강사단이 의기투합 하여 새로운 교육자료 수집, 자료편집을 통하여 청소년 자원봉사교육의 질을 높이는 한편 기존의 지루한 교육에서 벗어나 퀴즈를 통한 청소년의 자원봉사 흥미를 유발하여 올해 새롭게 자원봉사 순회교육의 힘찬 첫걸음을 내딛었다고 전했다.

가평군자원봉사센터 김금순 센터장은 “자원봉사의 미래를 책임지는 청소년들의 올바르고 계획적인 자원봉사활동을 응원한다” 라며 “청소년 교육의 소홀함이 없도록 강사단의 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
