[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 16일 심재국 평창군수가 '아동폭력 근절 온라인 캠페인(END violence)'에 참여했다고 밝혔다.

심 군수는 정명근 화성시장의 지명을 받아 이번 캠페인에 참여하게 됐으며 아동청소년이 폭력없는 세상에서 안전하고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 ‘아동폭력근절! 모두의 관심이 필요합니다’라는 슬로건으로 지역사회의 관심과 참여를 호소했다.

한편, '아동폭력 근절 온라인 캠페인(END violence)'은 릴레이 챌린지 방식으로 진행되며 아동·청소년을 향한 모든 폭력을 근절시키기 위해 유니세프한국위원회와 외교부가 펼치고 있는 인식개선 활동으로, ‘Take action, stop violence (폭력을 멈추게 하는 것은 바로 우리의 관심입니다)’라는 슬로건으로 사회적 관심과 공감대 형성을 위해 지난 7월부터 온라인을 통해 전개되고 있다.
