[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 28일 포천시는 위기청소년을 조기 발견하고 보호 지원을 위한 ‘2021년 제1차 청소년안전망 운영위원회 회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

청소년 안전망은 지역사회 내 청소년 관련 자원과 기관을 연계해 위기 청소년을 발굴·구조하고 가정․사회로 복귀를 지원하는 사회안전망 시스템으로, 운영위원회는 청소년복지에 대해 지식과 경험이 풍부한 전문가 9인으로 구성했다고 전했다. 

이번 회의에서는 특별지원사업 대상 청소년 8명에 대한 지원 여부를 결정하고, 각 기관별로 학업 중단, 가출, 인터넷 중독 등 위기 청소년에 대한 협력·지원방안을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다. 

1차 특별지원사업 대상자로 선정된 8명의 청소년에게는 생활지원, 상담지원, 건강지원 등의 서비스와 더불어 지속적인 상담과 사례관리도 진행된다고 했다.

포천시 관계자는 “청소년 안전망을 통해 복지사각지대의 위기청소년들을 적극 발굴하고 이들이 건강한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원해 나갈 계획이다.”라고 밝혔다
