[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 24일 오전 14시부터 북부지방산림청 청사에서 국민 재난 대응 의식 고취를 위해 어린이와 함께하는 민방위 훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 민방위 훈련은 지역 어린이집과 공동으로 진행되어 VR 안전체험장비를 활용해 어린이의 눈높이에서 소화기 사용법을 익히고 심폐소생술을 교육하는 시간을 가졌다.

VR 안전체험장비는 소화기 사용법과 심폐소생술 프로그램이 내장되어 어린이들이 정확한 방법을 익히고 게임을 통해 친구들과 함께 방법을 습득할 수 있었다.

교육에 참여한 어린이집 담당 선생님은 “위험한 상황에서 대처할 수 있는 방법을 어린이의 눈높이에서 교육할 수 있어 효과적이었고 적극적으로 참여하는 아이들이 모습이 좋았다”고 말했다.

임하수 북부지방산림청장은 “미래 주역인 어린이들이 민방위 훈련 체험을 통해 안전 의식을 높이고 안보의식을 다지는 계기가 되길 바란다”며, “국민들과 함께하는 을지연습을 진행해 확고한 안보의식을 확립하도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
