[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 오는 16일부터 10월 31일까지 표본가구로 선정된 가구원 중 만19세 이상 성인 877여명을 대상으로 ‘2022년 지역사회건강조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

지역사회건강조사는 지역주민의 건강생활습관, 건강수준 등을 파악해 지역별 특성에 적합한 보건사업의 기획, 평가의 근거자료로 활용된다.

태백시는 본 조사에 앞서 연세대학교 원주산학협력단과 업무협약을 체결하고 조사원 6명을 채용해 보건통계수행의 전문적인 인력 양성 및 효율적 조사수행 교육을 지난달 21일부터 22일까지 이틀간 진행했다.

또한, 조사 시작 전 각 동 행정복지센터 표본가구로 선정된 가구에 대해 조사원들이 직접 방문하여 조사 가능여부를 확인하고 해당 가구에 조사 가구 통지서를 보냄으로써 본격적인 조사를 실시한다.

이번 지역사회건강조사는 감염병 예방수칙을 철저히 준수하면서 안전하고 완성도 높은 조사를 수행하고자 선정된 조사가구에 직접 방문해 일대일 면접조사를 실시한다.

태백시 관계자는 “이번 조사는 통계법에 따라 철저하게 비밀이 보장되는 만큼 대상자로 선정된 주민들께서는 조사에 적극 참여해 주시기를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
