[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김동연 더불어민주당 경기도지사 후보가 탄소중립 및 ESG 경영 지원으로 중소기업이 강한 경기도를 만들겠다고 밝히며 ‘중소기업 ESG 경영 4대 정책공약’을 발표했다고 전했다.

김 후보는 28일 페이스북 메시지를 통해 “전 세계 기업이 탄소중립과 ESG 경영이라는 변화의 파고 속에 놓여있다. 경기도의 중소기업 역시 대내외적 환경의 변화 속에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있도록 하겠다”며 공약을 제시했다.

먼저, 경기도에 ‘중소기업 ESG 지원단’을 설립해 중소기업이 변화에 선제적으로 대응할 수 있도록, ESG 역량 강화의 전 과정을 지원한다는 방침이다. 또 성과 배분 조건을 기반으로 성과를 도출하고 자생력을 갖추도록 할 것임을 강조했다.

두 번째로는 중소기업이 재생에너지 중심의 혁신적인 에너지 전환을 할 수 있도록 RE100 달성을 적극 지원한다는 것이라고 전했다.

김 후보는 경기도 중소기업이 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 경기도의 전력 자급을 재생에너지 위주로 확대하고, 도내에서 생산한 재생에너지를 RE100 수요 중소기업에 공급하는 지역 협력형 모델을 만들겠다고 약속했으며, 또한 재생에너지 설비에 대한 규제의 합리적 개선도 공약했다고 전했다.

세 번째로는 ‘상생협력‧공정거래 지원센터’ 신설을 통한 대‧중소기업 동반성장 강화를 꼽았으며, 국내 중소기업의 35%가 위치한 경기도의 특성을 고려해 대기업과 중소기업 간의 갈등과 이슈를 신속하게 조정하고 지원한다는 공약이라고 했다.

마지막으로는 중소기업인과 노동자의 예우 및 복지 향상을 제시했다. 중소기업인에 대한 존경과 유공기업 발굴, 기업인의 사회공헌 인식 제고 등을 지원하고 혁신제품 구매비율 5% 확대 등을 약속했다고 했다. 

또한 중소기업 노동자 임금복지 수준 향상, 중소기업 노동자 대상 경기주택도시공사의 부동산 특별청약 지원 확대, 중소기업 노동자 복지포인트 지원 등을 공약했다고 전했다.

김 후보는 “중소기업이 살아야 경제가 살아난다”며 “경기도민 대다수가 근무하는 중소기업 지원을 경기도 경제정책의 최일선에 두겠다”고 강조했다.
