[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월부터 오는 10월까지 원주시립중앙도서관은 2022 대한민국 독서대전 연중 프로그램 ‘작은 도서관 스스로 아카데미’를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

4월 고판화작은도서관을 시작으로, 영재작은도서관, 문화공감작은도서관 등 총 11곳의 작은 도서관이 참여하는 ‘작은 도서관 스스로 아카데미’는 작가 초청 강연과 작은 도서관 성격에 따른 문화 프로그램 등을 운영한하며, 이번 프로그램은 원주시 곳곳에 있는 작은도서관을 시민에게 알리고 지역 독서문화 네트워크 형성과 저변 확대를 위해 기획하게 됐다고 했고, 수강 신청은 도서관별로 선착순 접수하며, 자세한 내용은 독서대전 홈페이지를 참고하거나 각 작은도서관에 전화로 문의하면 된다.

독서대전 관계자는 “이번 행사를 계기로 시민들이 원주 곳곳의  작은 도서관의 존재 및 기능을 알고 활성화되어 독서문화 저변 확대에 이바지하길 바란다.”라고 전했다.
