[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시립중앙도서관은 국내 최대 규모의 독서문화축제 ‘2022 대한민국 독서대전’ 박경리 연계 독서특화 프로그램 중 하나인 ‘수필화-손끝으로 읽는 작품’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이 프로그램은 박경리 작가의 작품을 원고지에 직접 필사하는 필사 체험, 작가의 시를 읽고 떠오르는 이미지를 그려보는 시화 체험으로 진행되며, 작품 ‘토지’의 마지막을 집필한 원주에서 작가가 보고 느꼈던 경험을 간접적으로 체험할 수 있도록 한다고 했다.

오는 3월 2일부터 11월까지 박경리 뮤지엄(흥업면 소재)에서 진행되며, 운영시간은 매주 화~일요일 오전 10시부터 오후 5시 30분까지라고 전했다.

이문희 관장은 “코로나19로 지쳐있는 국민이 박경리 작가의 작품을 통해 위로받을 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다.”라며, “2022 대한민국 독서대전의 성공적인 추진으로 전국적인 독서문화 활성화가 이루어질 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

한편 2022 대한민국 독서대전은 3월 24일 선포식을 통해 본격적으로 시작되며, 행사 관련 자세한 사항은 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.
