[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시와 일본 치바현 이치카와시는 서로간 활발한 도서 교류가 이어지면서 상호 우호 증진에 한몫을 톡톡히 하고 있다고 밝혔다.

원주시는 최근 WHO 건강도시 교류 협정을 맺고 있는 이치카와시로부터 일본의 음식문화와 취미생활, 생태환경 등을 다룬 원서 5권을 기증받았다고 전했고, 양 도시 간의 도서 교류는 지난 2009년부터 이어지고 있으며, 다양한 인기 원서를 상호 기증하고 있다고 했다.

‘살림을 색칠하는 「어른들의 소꿉놀이」’ 등 이번에 기증받은 도서는 등록 및 정리과정을 거쳐 원주시립중앙도서관 다문화실 자매우호도시 코너에 비치할 예정이라고 전했다.
