[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시립중앙도서관은 연세대학교 근대한국학연구소의 지원을 받아 ‘한국의 근대 미술가’ 강좌를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 강의는 안중식, 고희동, 나혜석 등 근대 한국 시기에 활동했던 8인의 미술가를 주제로 그들의 생애와 작품세계에 대해 알아보는 시간으로 마련했으며, 강의는 오는 5월 17일부터 8주간 매주 화요일 저녁 7시에 두 시간 동안 온라인 줌을 활용한 비대면 방식으로 진행되고 오는 4월 26일 오전 10시부터 도서관 홈페이지를 통해 청소년 및 성인 50명을 선착순으로 모집한다고 전했다.

도서관 관계자는 “근대 한국 시기 예술가들의 삶의 궤적을 통해, 우리 역사에 대해서도 알 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것으로 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
