[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 예산편성과 과정에 주민참여를 보장하기 위해 2023년 예산편성을 위한 주민참여예산 제안사업을 공모한다고 밝혔다.

주민참여예산 공모기간은 오는 28일부터 6월 30일까지이며, 대상사업은 총 사업비 1억 원 이하 단년도 사업이라고 전했다.

제안 주요 내용은 주거환경 및 공공시설 개선, 마을 기업 육성, 마을 환경 보전과 개선, 마을 자원을 활용한 호혜적 협동조합, 행복한 우리마을 조성, 주민 소득 증대와 생활 개선 사업 등이라고 했다. 

접수된 제안사업은 태백시 예산 및 사업부서에서 사전 검토 후, 주민참여예산 위원회 심의를 거쳐 최종 선정되며 다음 해 예산안으로 편성된다고 했다. 

접수 방법은 시 홈페이지 주민참여예산제 게시판, 이메일, 방문접수, 우편접수 모두 가능하며, 기타 자세한 사항은 태백시청 기획예산담당관 예산팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다. 

참가 자격은 시에 주소를 두고 있는 시민, 지역 내 소재 기관에 근무하는 시민, 시에 영업소 본점 또는 지점을 둔 사업체 대표자 또는 임직원 등이라고 했다.
