화천군은 경유차 뿐 아니라 지난 8일 공고를 통해 건설기계 엔진교체 지원사업도 추진 중이며, 군은 예산 소진 시까지 화천군에 등록된 건설기계 중 교체 기준에 부합하는노후 건설기계 엔진교체 비용 일부를 보조한다고 했다.

엔진교체 지원금액은 건설기계의 종류와 크기에 따라 다르며, 지게차는 936만6,000원~1,929만5,000원, 굴착기는 1,299만2,000원~2,035만4,000원까지 지원되고, 사업신청 희망자는 예산 소진 이전에 군청 환경과로 방문접수하면 된다고 전했다. 

화천군은 지난해 72대였던 전기차 보조금 지원규모를 올해 승용차 53대, 화물 소형차 39대 등 121대로 늘리고, 수소 승용차 10대도 1대 당 3,550만원의 보조금을 지급한다고 밝힌 바 있다고 했다.
