[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일, 횡성군은 둔내면 도시재생현장지원센터 주민공유공간에서 도시재생예비사업의 일환으로 보드게임을 활용한 청소년 돌봄교사양성 교육과정 오리엔테이션을 진행하였다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육에는 둔내면을 비롯해 횡성읍, 안흥면 등 다양한 지역에서 모두 18명의 군민이 신청하는 등 청소년 돌봄교육에 대한 높은 관심을 보였으며, 30시간 이수 후 시험을 통과한 교육생에게는 교육기능성,보드게임 지도사 2급 자격증이 수여되고, 향후에는 관내 중학교 자율학기제 등과 연계하여 돌봄 실습도 추진될 예정이라고 했다.  

한편, 이날 행사는 코로나19 확산 차단을 위해, 방역 수칙을 철저히 준수한 가운데 개최되었다고 전했다. 

횡성군도시재생지원센터 함광민센터장은 “4차 산업혁명의 시대에 미래 인재를 키우기 위해서는 의사소통능력(communication), 창의력(creativity), 비판적 사고력(critical thinking), 협업력(collaboration) 등 4C영역이 매우 중요하”다며, “이번 교육과정을 통해 청소년과 학부모 상호간 친화력을 높이고 협업과 사회성을 강화하는 등 긍정적 효과를 기대한다. 또한, 청소년을 직접 돌봄 교육하는 선순환 인력양성 시스템의 물꼬를 트는 계기가 되어 향후 창업과 일자리 창출로도 이어졌으면 하는 바람이다.”고 말했다.
