[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 배출가스를 저감 하여 쾌적한 대기환경 조성을 위해 속초시민과 기업체·법인 등을 대상으로 수소전기차 보조금 지원사업을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

보급물량은 수소전기자동차 50대이며, 보급차종은 현대자동차 넥쏘  승용차로 대당 3,550만원을 정액 지원한다고 전했다.

보조금 신청자격은 구매신청일 기준 90일 이전부터 속초시에 주소를 둔 사람이거나 사업자등록을 한 사업자 또는 법인(단체)이며, 자동차 판매 대리점에서 구매계약 체결 후 무공해차 구매보조금 지원시스템에 신청서를 제출한 신청자에 대해 차량 출고·등록 순으로 보조금을 지원할 예정이라고 했다.

또한, 장애인과 차상위계층, 소상공인 등 취약계층과 다자녀 가구, 생애 최초 차량구매자, 농공단지 입주 사업장에는 전체 물량의 10%인 5대에 대해서 우선 지원한다고 했다. 

속초시는 2019년부터 2021년까지 총 273대의 수소전기자동차를 보급했으며, 강원 영동 북부권에 유일하게 수소충전소가 구축되어 작년 8월부터 운영 중이라고 전했다. 

속초시 관계자는“무공해자동차에 대한 수요가 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 전국 제일의 친환경 관광도시에 걸맞게 보급을 확대할 계획이다.”라고 밝혔다.
