송산권역 내 소하천에 도시미관을 저해하는 지난겨울부터 봄까지 무성하게 자란 풀 및 여름 장마철 게릴라성 폭우로 인해 떠내려온 쓰레기, 잡목, 잡풀을 제거 및 제방 안전성 확보를 위해 소하천 등 수시 점검과 주민센터 수요조사를 반영하여 상반기 6월에 소하천 9개소 78,720㎡ 및 하반기 9월에 소하천 9개소, 구거 3개소 79,070㎡ 환경정비를 했고, 맑고 깨끗한 도시를 만들기 위해 사업비 1억 원을 투입했다고 했다.

민형식 송산권역 국장은 “소하천 13개소 중 민락천, 본민락천, 귀락천은 도시미관의 핵심이기에 지속적인 환경정비 관리를 통해 송산권역이 맑고 쾌적한 깨끗한 명품도시가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
