[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8일 양주시 회천4동은 ‘양주시읍면동지역사회보장협의체 나눔유공자’ 표창 수여식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

양주시읍면동지역사회보장협의체 나눔유공자 표창은 평소 나눔 활동으로 주위의 어려운 이웃을 위해 헌신한 풍천임씨 소간공파 종중과 유정미(61세,여)씨가 수여 받았다고 했다.

수상자는 2020년 경기사회복지공동모금회가 추진한 ‘포스트 코로나19 위기 극복을 위한 감동 양주 연합모금 프로젝트’의 회천4동 목표 모금액 달성에 큰 도움을 주었으며 평소 어렵고 소외된 이웃돕기에 앞장서 온 것으로 알려졌다고 했다. 

한편, 회천4동 지역사회보장협의체는 2020년 연합모금 사업을 통해 마련된 모금액 총 16,162,000원의 재원으로 마을복지지원사업을 실시, ‘마을이 키우는 인재’, ‘더 건강한 마을 만들기’, ‘멋진 날, 멋진 나’ 등 총 6개의 사업을 진행 중이며 올해는 감동나눔 ‘온품캠페인’을 통해 마련된 모금액으로 2022년 마을복지 지원사업을 진행할 예정이라고 했다.
