[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11일까지 양주시 회천4동은 국군의 날, 개천절, 한글날을 맞이해 ‘나라사랑 태극기 달기 운동’을 펼친다고 밝혔다.

‘나라사랑 태극기 달기 운동’은 나라의 소중함과 나라를 사랑하는 마음을 되새기고자 마련한 것으로 회천4동에서는 모두가 동참할 수 있는 적극적인 분위기를 조성하고 태극기 달기 운동에 대한 관심을 향상시키고자 공공기관 청사에서 솔선수범해 추진함으로써 청사 주변에 태극기를 게양했다고 전했다.

이창열 회천4동장은 “태극기 달기 운동을 통해 순국선열의 숭고한 희생정신을 기리고 시민들에게 나라를 사랑하는 마음이 확산되는 계기가 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
