송산3동 새마을부녀회는 연말 이웃돕기 성금 기탁을 비롯해 각종 공공시설 방역활동 실시 등 지역사회를 위한 봉사활동을 적극적으로 실천하는 모범적인 자생단체로 알려져 있다고 했다.
