상담에 임한 한 복지대상자는 “다양한 복지서비스를 연계해 주어 고맙고, 코로나19 때문에 바깥출입이 자유롭지 못한데, 이렇게 직접 와서 예방수칙과 민원 안내 등을 친절히 설명해 주고 살펴줘서 감사하다.”고 전했다.

최기진 소흘읍장은 “매달 찾아가는 복지상담을 진행해 장애인, 홀몸어르신 등 취약계층에 대해 좀 더 관심을 기울이고 희망을 잃지 않고 건강하게 살아갈 수 있도록 맞춤형복지를 실천해 나가겠다.”고 말했다
 
한편, 소흘읍 찾아가는 복지상담은 3월말까지 200여 명을 상담하고 푸드뱅크, 노인맞춤형돌봄 서비스 등을 연계·지원했다고 전했다.
