[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 오는 12월 5일부터 6일까지 홍천군이 ‘강원형 항체산업 생태계 구축과 미래 도약!’이라는 주제로 홍천국가항체클러스터 조성사업 활성화를 위한 정책 세미나를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

홍천 소노펠리체 그랜드볼룸에서 개최되는 이번 세미나는 강원도와 홍천군이 주최, (재)스크립스코리아항체연구원, (재)강원테크노파크, 서울대학교 시스템면역의학연구소가 주관, 산업통상자원부가 후원한다. 

이날 행사에는 강원도 및 홍천군 관계자, 도내 혁신기관, 바이오기업 및 병원 관계자 200여명이 참석해 홍천국가항체클러스터의 성공적인 구축을 위한 국가 R&D·정책 전문가와의 방안 모색과 강원형 항체산업 생태계 구축 및 미래 도약방안 등을 논의한다. 

행사는 개회식과 주제발표 및 종합토론 순으로 진행된다. 5일 주제발표에는 김형철 한국산업기술평가관리원 바이오 PD, 조용호 변혁법제정책연구소장, 김충재 강원연구원 혁신성장실 연구위원이 연사로 나선다.  종합토론은 박준동 서울대학교 시스템면역의학연구소장이 좌장을 맡아 진행한다. 이어 6일에는 나희준 ㈜하울바이오 대표와 김영필 스크립스코리아항체연구원 연구본부장이 연사로 나서며, 이후 홍천국가항체클러스터 현장방문이 진행될 예정이다.  

한편, 강원도와 홍천군은 오는 2035년까지 항체 치료제·진단 벤처기업 육성으로 고용창출효과 3,760여명, 생산유발효과 3,722억원을 거둘 것으로 예상하고 있다. 

신영재 홍천군수는 “국가항체클러스터 사업은 국가 차원에서도 중요하지만 지역 경제에도 아주 큰 의미를 갖고 있다”며, “항체 관련 기업과 연구소를 유치하고 벤처기업과 창업기업을 육성하여 지역경제 활성화와 지방소멸 문제의 돌파구가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
