[김현우 기자 = 가평군] 가평소방서는 1일 국가중요시설인 가평변전소 배전전력구에 방문해 현장 안전컨설팅을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 안전컨설팅은 국가중요시설에 방문하여 화재 등 사건, 사고의 예방과 사고 발생 시 신속하게 대응을 해 국가적인 재난·피해를 방지하기 위하여 실시했다.

가평변전소는 가평군 일대 28,000호에 전력을 공급하는 주요 시설로 화재 등 사건, 사고가 발생한다면 그 피해가 가평 전 지역으로 퍼져나갈 가능성이 높다.

주요 컨설팅 내용으로는 자율 안전관리체계 점검, 화재위험 요인 사전 제거, 발전설비 현황 파악, 전력구 진출입로 확인 및 실내 여건 확인 등이다. 

배영환 가평소방서장은 “변전소에서의 사건, 사고는 전력공급 차질로 정전, 승강기 갇힘 등 2차 사고로 이어질 가능성이 높다. 그렇기에 관계자분들은 사고 발생 요인을 사전에 제거 및 사고 발생 시 초기대응 방법을 숙지하시기 바란다.” 고 말했다.
