[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4일 평창군의 올림픽도시 사회혁신 리빙랩 사업이 본격적으로 시작된다고 전했다.

군에 따르면, 이번 리빙랩 사업의 보조사업자로 예술바람이 선정되었으며, 사업명은 플라잉 그린 평창(flying green P.C)으로 분리수거하는 플라스틱 쓰레기 중 분류가 되지 않는 플라스틱 뚜껑을 수거해 지역예술가들이 실용적인 생필품으로 재활용하여 주민들에게 무료로 배부하는 사업으로, 제작되는 생필품의 종류는 플라스틱 뚜껑 수거 시 주민들의 의견을 수렴하여 결정될 예정이라고 밝혔다.

플라스틱 뚜껑의 수거기간은 이달 4일부터 오는 8월 30일까지이며, 수거함 설치 장소는  총 4개소로 읍·면사무소, 평창군청 1층 로비, 진부 스페이스창공 입구, 예술바람 사무실이라고 했다.

이영배 올림픽유산과장은 “무분별하게 버려지는 플라스틱 뚜껑을 재활용하는 과정을 통하여 평창군민들이 환경 문제에 대하여 다시 한번 생각해 볼 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바라고, 주민들이 주체가 되어 실질적인 문제해결 방안을 도출해 내기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.
