정병두 부군수는 “코로나19로 인해 실내수영장 운영이 중단됐었던데 이어 이번에 또다시 공사로 인해 운영이 중단돼 이용객들의 불편이 예상되지만, 보다 안전하고 더욱 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위해 개보수 공사를 실시하는 만큼 지역 주민들의 적극적인 협조를 당부드린다.”며 “휴장기간을 단축해 주민불편을 최소화할 수 있도록 신속하게 공사를 마무리하는데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
