[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 25일, 정선군은 군청 대회의실에서 정선군 청년정책협의체 상반기 정기회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 협의체를 이끌어갈 위원장과 부위원장을 각각 선출했고, 또한 이날 분과 구성 및 회칙 개정, 협의체 활성화 계획 및 인구감소지역 지정에 따른 청년인구 늘리기 방안에 대하여 논의하는 시간이 마련되었다고 했다.

정선군 청년정책협의체는 청년층의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 청년이 정책결정에 직접 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위하여 지난해 11월 창립되었으며, 현재 28명의 협의체 위원들이 활동하고 있다고 전했다.

정선군 청년협의체 위원장은 "협의체가 민관협치 파트너이자 청년정책의 주체로서 지역의 청년들이 서로 소통과 협력을 통해 군민 모두가 행복한 지역사회를 위해 적극 노력해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
