[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 태백시민 전체를 대상으로 긴급 재난기본소득을 지급한다고 밝혔다. 

이는 코로나19 장기화에 따른 태백시민들의 경제적 안정과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 추진하는 것으로 지난 2020년과 2021년 재난기본소득 지급 이후 3번째 지원이며, 강원도내에서는 홍천군 및 정선군에 이어 3번째 지급이라고 했다.

지급대상은 2022년 1월 8일 이전부터 신청일 현재까지 태백시에 주민등록을 두고 있는 자이며 1인당 20만원씩 지역화폐 탄탄페이를 통해 개별 지급된다고 했다. 

단, 1947년 12월 31일 이전 출생자는 태백사랑상품권으로 지급이 가능하며, 사용기한은 올해 6월 30일까지이며 미사용 금액은 태백시 예산으로 반환된다.

신청기간은 오는 17일부터 내달 18일까지 한달간이며 신청방법은 2022년 1월 8일 기준 관할 동 행정복지센터로 방문 접수하면 된다고전했다.

태백시는 신청ㆍ접수 시 혼란을 방지하기 위해 신청 첫 주인 오는 1월 17일부터 1월 21일은 출생연도를 기준으로 요일제를 적용하며, 17일 월요일에는 출생연도 끝자리가 1, 6 ▲18일 화요일에는 2, 7 ▲19일 수요일에는 3, 8 ▲20일 목요일에는 4, 9  ▲ 21일 금요일에는 5, 0인 태백시민이 신청 가능하며 둘째 주부터는 출생연도와 관계없이 방문 신청할 수 있다고 전했다.

구비서류는 본인 신청 시 신분증과 탄탄페이 카드이며 대리인 신청 시 위임자의 신분증, 탄탄페이카드 및 위임장이 있어야 신청이 가능하다고 했다. 

황지영 재난관리과장은 “코로나19 장기화로 일상생활과 생업에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인 및 태백 시민분들께 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “시민들의 건강과 안전을 지키고 하루빨리 일상을 회복할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
