이번에 선정된 참여자는 2022년 1년 동안 공공기관 및 복지시설에 배치되어 행정도우미, 복지서비스요원, 우편물분류, 환경도우미 등 직무를 수행하게 되며, 2022년 장애인일자리사업은 3개 유형으로 모집인원은 전일제 9명(주 5일, 40시간), 시간제 3명(주 5일, 20시간), 복지일자리 13명(주 14시간 이내, 월56시간) 등 전년대비 1.04% 증가한 총 25명을 선발한다고 전했다.

신청 대상은 장애인복지법상 등록된 만 18세 이상 등록 장애인으로 보조인 없이 담당업무 수행이 가능해야 하고, 단, 사업자등록증과 고유번호증이 있는 자, 국민건강보험 직장가입자, 장기요양등급판정을 받은자, 타 재정지원 일자리 참여자, 최근 1년 이내 장애인일자리사업 참여 중단 조치를 받은 자 등은 제외된다고 했다.
